National Coloring Book Day is on Tuesday, August 2 (8/2/2022) and it’s the perfect day to relax, have fun, and get in touch with your younger self.
According to the National Day Calendar, “Dover Publications created National Coloring Book Day in May 2015. Founded in 1941, Dover Publications leads the way. Dover released their first coloring book for adults, Antique Automobiles Coloring Book, in 1970.”
While coloring books have been seen as a children’s activity, it’s now been considered a past-time favorite for many adults.
